Media Release: Arrest Update to Convenience Store Robbery



Convenience Store Robbery

On August 10, 2017 at 12:45 pm, the Colonial Heights Police Department arrested Terrell Price, 26 years of age of Washington D.C. for Robbery, Grand Larceny, Brandishing of a firearm, and Use of a firearm in the commission of a felony in reference to the armed robbery of the Exxon gas station. 

Colonial Heights Detectives were conducting a canvassing operation at local businesses, when a citizen made them aware of Price’s location.  Colonial Heights Detectives as well as Petersburg Detectives made contact with Price in the parking lot of the Flagship Inn, located in the 800 block of South Crater Road, Petersburg where Price was taken into custody without incident.

On August 9, 2017, at 10:45 am, the male suspect pictured below entered the Exxon Convenience Store located in the 800 block of the Boulevard.  The suspect removed a handgun from his backpack, pointed it at the clerk and demanded that she open the register and give him the money. Upon receiving an undetermined amount of money, the suspect exited the store and ran eastbound, behind the store.  

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20’s, approximately 5’11”, wearing black pants, a dark shirt, a black baseball cap and carrying a black book bag.
